New Frontier Aerospace Secures Funding and Invitation to Participate in Venture for ClimateTech Program
New Frontier Aerospace, Inc. has been selected from an international pool of nearly 600 applicants to participate in the initial cohort for the Venture for ClimateTech program. Sponsored by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Venture for ClimateTech has awarded New Frontier Aerospace up to $125K of non-dilutive funding throughout a seven-month virtual accelerator.
Venture for ClimateTech is a global non-profit venture studio and accelerator that sources the most promising climate tech innovators from around the world.
New Frontier Aerospace was selected based on the ability of the company’s technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in New York State and around the world; its originality;
New Frontier Aerospace Is building affordable vertical take-off-landing hypersonic aircraft that can fly passengers and cargo anywhere on earth in two hours or less using cleaner fuels.
“This investment will help us to build our team, advance our technology and develop new customer relationships. All are very important steps in our mission to fly anyone or anything, anywhere on earth in two hours – 90% cleaner than existing jets”, said Bill Bruner, CEO, New Frontier Aerospace.
